Synopsis
An emotionally charged and inspiring one- woman show from the words and works of Mabel Dodge Luhan, the notorious, much-married art patron and symbol of the New Woman in the early 20th century. Mabel's life connected important social and intellectual issues as well as artist and writers such as Georgia O'Keefe, D. H. Lawrence and Willa Cather.

Mabel, in the middle of her life, in the middle of menopause, conducts one of her famous "Evenings" with the audience - a wild and humorous exploration of a passionate past, and a call to arms for an invigorated future. Leslie and Mabel speak imaginatively and powerfully to women today.

The Passions Of Mabel Dodge Luhan "There is a fire that burns in us, yes in all of us, that is the sexual fire sublimated and become divine."
Mabel Dodge Luhan
